Select By Layer

There may be times where you will need to gather information based on another layer. GISweb now has functionality that allows you to select one layer based on another layer. For example, you may want to select parcels within a particular historic district or buildings within a certain area of the floodplain.

--> EXAMPLE:    Select all the parks within City Council District 3.

  1. For best results, make sure each layer to be selected is visible. In the example, City Council Districts and City Parks are both displayed.
